Children are usually admitted to our nursery the September following their 3rd birthday, depending on places available.  We offer both full and part time provision.

Full time places (9am to 3pm) are available to families who qualify for 30 hours free childcare offered by the government. The website address below gives further details

Part time places are open to all families: our morning sessions run from 8.45am to 11.45am, and our afternoon sessions from 12.15pm to 3.15pm.

Arrangements for the 2022-23 Academic Year

We will be trialling an increase to our full time provision in response to requests from parents in our local community. We will be offering up to 24 full time places with a mixture of morning and afternoon places, totalling no more than 45 FTE children. This is a temporary increase to our published admission number (PAN) to allow us to evaluate the impact of an alternative extended provision.

We recommend that you register your interest shortly after your child’s second birthday and ideally in the autumn term before your child is due to start nursery.  The closing date for on time applications is 31st December if you would like your child to start nursery the following September. 

Places are allocated in the Spring term ready for children to start nursery the following September.   Please refer to the School Admissions Policy for further information regarding the allocation process and admissions criteria.

We do accept in year applications and late applications for our nursery subject to availability.  

Home visits and the arrangements for admitting pupils are explained to all parents once parents receive confirmation of a nursery place to ensure a happy and successful start.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Admission to the nursery does not secure a full time place in Reception. Parents need to apply separately.  Please see the information on Reception admissions regarding applications to the school.
